It is also used in coatings (such as automotive refinishing, wood finishes, and floor varnishes), adhesives, and elastomers for applications like rollerskate wheels, tires, and shock absorbers. 

Toluene is a colorless, flammable liquid with a distinct odor. It is used extensively as a solvent in products like paints, glues, and lacquers, and as a raw material for producing other chemicals.
